- I absolutely LOVE words!! Long words,short words, written words, spoken words...ALL WORDS!! I LOVE them! I received my first journal when I was in the 5th grade from my Grandma Kern...I credit her with my love of writing and expressing myself. I keep that little yellow book on my bedside, every now and then I open it and read about loves lost, what the weather was like and who I got to "slow skate" with. As I got older my journals evolved into notebooks filled with page after page of crushes, best friends, favorite music and what we did on Friday nights. My journals have been with me through college, pregnancies and my father's death. I've dreamed, reached goals and lived entire lifetimes on those pages. I've had the idea for the "Words of Me Project" for a couple of years. I'd toy around with the idea then decide to take another path. Now, at last I'm ready. Ready to share, inspire and encourage you to take your life from October 5th 2009 to October 5th 2010 and describe it in 52 words. I hope you'll join me on this exciting adventure. Oh, and don't worry if you get started late...Just jump right in and start today! Now let's GO!!
